A friend's 15-year-old daughter recently posted her mobile phone number on to Facebook, as did a number of her friends - because a friend had lost their phone and created an open group called "xxxxx lost his phone - give me numbers". All of these numbers, their owners pictures and, in some cases their schools, are now visible to every Facebook user that wants to look.
Its about time they started teaching online social network safety in schools!
